Space Engineers
Space Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, building, exploration and survival in space and on planets. Players build spaceships, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses, pilot ships, and travel into space to explore planets and gather resources for survival.
Space Engineers features a realistic volumetric physics engine: everything in the game can be assembled, disassembled, damaged and destroyed. The game can be played in single or multiplayer mode.
Volumetric objects are structures composed of block-like modules nested in a grid. Volumetric objects behave like real physical objects with mass, inertia and velocity. The individual modules have a real volume and storage capacity. Space Engineers is inspired by reality and how things work. Think of modern NASA technology extrapolated 60 years into the future. Space Engineers strives to follow the laws of physics and does not use technologies that would not be achievable in the near future.
Space Engineers focuses on the construction and exploration aspects, but can also be played as a survival shooter. We expect players to avoid direct hand-to-hand combat and instead use their creativity and technical skills to build war machines and fortresses for survival in space and on planets. Space engineers shouldn’t deal with troops; it should be the machines you build.

New game options
– Scenarios – feature a linear story with action-packed gameplay, while most Space Engineers scenarios feature unique sandbox environments for players to create their own challenges.
– Workshop Worlds – Gift worlds created by other players.
– Custom Worlds – Offer a variety of customizable worlds to launch your own storyline.
Customizable Character – Skins, colors, community market, male and female character
Ships (big and small) – build them and pilot them
space stations
Planetary Bases, Outposts, Cities
First person and third person
Super Large Worlds – the size of the world up to 1,000,000,000 km in diameter (almost infinite)
Procedural asteroids – infinite number of asteroids in the game world
Exploration – adds an infinite number of ships and stations to the game world; discover, explore, acquire and conquer!
Sowing / Harvest
Manual construction in survival mode – Use the welder to assemble blocks from components; Use a grinder to disassemble and reuse components
Deformable and destructible objects – real proportions, mass, storage capacity, integrity
Visual Script Editor – Players can create missions and game modes that can be played by other players. Capture the flag, deathmatch, race or campaign driven missions – all can be done using the editor, with your own rules and designs! The main campaign and game scenarios were also created in this tool.
Building block – over 200 blocks (gravity generators, jump drives, turrets, doors, landing gear, assembler, refinery, rotors, wheels, thrusters, pistons, wind turbines and many more)
Programmable Block – Allows players to write small programs that run in the game
Electricity: all the blocks of a network are wired into an electrical and computer network; electricity is generated by nuclear reactors or various energy sources
Gravity – produced by planets and gravity generators. Spherical gravity generator also available.
Symmetry / Reflection – useful in creative mode when building structures that require symmetry
Weapons: automatic rifle, small and large explosive warheads, gatling machine gun for small ships, rocket launchers for small ships
Steam Workshop: share your creations with the community (upload and download worlds, projects, MODs, scripts)
Localized interface
– Official localization: English, Russian, Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese
– Community location: Czech, Danish, Dutch, German, Icelandic, Polish, Spanish-Spanish, Spanish-Latin American, Finnish, Hungarian, Estonian, Norwegian, Swedish, Slovak, Ukrainian
Cargo Ships – Self-driving ships (miners, merchant and military) that transport minerals, ingots, structural components and other materials from one sector to another. They can be looted, but beware, they often contain booby traps!
Oxygen: Take off the character’s helmet, generate oxygen from the ice using the oxygen generator
Hydrogen: hydrogen thrusters, hydrogen tanks and hydrogen cylinders
Factions: Create and join factions, determine ownership of blocks and manage relationships between them (enemy / ally). Remote Control: Control ships and turrets without being inside
Modding: world files, shaders, textures, 3D models
Modding API: Offers many new features to modders and allows them to change the game by writing C # scripts that access game objects
Projects: Save your ship or station to a project and paste it into the game
GPS: Create, send, receive and manage GPS coordinates in the game
Mani Voxel: shape and shape asteroids and change their material (creative mode only)
Xbox controller support
Sounds: Realistic and arcade modes
Space Engineers uses an internally built QUESTION 2.0, a realistic volumetric physics engine: all objects can be assembled, disassembled, damaged and destroyed.
