CROSSOUT – The road to the Apocalypse

In 2027, a mysterious viral epidemic known as “Crossout” engulfed the planet, countries and populations simultaneously began to decline around the world at an alarming rate. Those who did not die in the early days were plagued by hallucinations and headaches, many people went mad, others committed suicide. It has not been possible to trace the origin of the disease, but the cities that were once the vibrant social and economic beacons of humanity have remained devastated and abandoned.

The survivors gradually began to change: after fifteen years of transformation, the changes became visible. The most striking metamorphosis occurred in the eyes of those affected: some began to glow, while others resembled black holes. To hide their unnatural appearance and hide the mutation, people started wearing padded clothes and sunglasses.

Twenty years have passed since Crossout. People still remember their lives before the disaster. As always, there are groups that seek to restore the old world, while others enjoy the chaos and destruction. But there are those who are no longer human.
